When the Four Corners of my Walls Falls

Oct 9, 2026

From the NIV Bible:

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)

Sometimes, everything that made us feel secure seems to collapse at once. Relationships strain, finances crumble, strength fades, and tomorrow feels uncertain. We stand among the pieces, wondering where to begin.

But when our walls fall, God is still our refuge. The collapse around us does not mean He has abandoned us. He meets us in the rubble, receives our tears, and gives us strength for the next step.

We do not have to pretend the loss is painless or rebuild everything today. We can grieve, pray, receive support, and trust Him one step at a time. Our walls may fall, but we are still held by God.

Heart Check: What have we depended on for security? Let us bring our fear to God and take one small step toward healing today.
