CRISIS MAGNET IN A BROKEN WORLD
From the NIV Bible:
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
(John 16:33)
Have you ever felt like a crisis magnet? Before one challenge settles, another appears. You begin to wonder, “Why me, Lord? Why does something always seem to happen?”
Jesus reminds us that trouble is part of living in a broken world. Facing difficulties does not mean you lack faith or that God has abandoned you. The Savior who promised us peace also acknowledged that we would experience hardship.
You can bring your “Why me?” honestly to God. As you pray, make room for another question: “Lord, how can I trust You and respond faithfully through this?” We may not understand every struggle, but we can seek His wisdom, receive support, and take the next step with Him.
Your circumstances may remain unsettled today, yet Christ’s presence is certain. Keep your eyes on the One who has overcome the world. His strength can sustain you when your own feels exhausted.
Something to Ponder! 🤔
Are you focusing more on the crises surrounding you or on the Christ who walks with you through them?
